The answer is Yes!

In 1900, William L. Murphy of San Francisco applied for his first patent for a bed, that lifted up into a closet, when not in use. He didn't like to entertain guests around the double bed in his one-room apartment. His invention became known as the "MURPHY BED."

Murphy Beds or Wall Beds have come a long way since.

CALGARY WALL BEDS (Murphy Beds) are made in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We use different mechanism and bed-frame systems. Our steel-frame hardware is supplied by Murphy Wallbed Systems of Chicago.

Our wood-frame system is made right here in our own factory in Calgary. We use a wallbed mechanism which is made by Stanz Werk Wetter in Germany, who is the leading hardware manufacturer for functional furniture fittings in Europe (www.stawett.de)

We don't belong to the dealer network of Murphy Wall-Beds Hardware Inc.. Therefore we are flexible to custom-make any beds to satisfy our customers.

Through our Quick-Ship Program we are able to supply our customers with melamine beds within 2-3 weeks. Delivery of our custom-made wood-veneer and solid wood beds at this time is 12 weeks.
